Terms of use

1. The PetID service

PetID is a free app to keep pet profiles, vaccine and vet records and turn on lost alerts. PetID also sells a QR collar tag, an ID card (with a QR code and NFC chip) and the PetCare cost support plan. PetShop is where partner stores list pet products and services.

2. Accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep your password safe.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell PetID right away if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your content

You keep the rights to photos and details you post and let PetID display them to run the service (for example the public profile and lost posts). Do not post false, offensive or infringing content, or other people's personal data without consent.

4. QR, NFC and lost alerts

• The QR code and NFC chip only open the public profile; they are not GPS trackers.
• PetID helps connect finders and owners but cannot guarantee a pet will be found.
• Lost posts must be genuine; PetID may hide false or duplicate posts.

5. Health information

Vaccine records, vet history and articles on PetID are for record keeping and reference only and do not replace a vet's diagnosis or advice.

6. Orders and PetCare

Ordering, payment, delivery and returns follow the Purchase policy. PetCare is a pet care cost support plan run by PetID and supports vet costs directly at partner clinics; benefits, support levels and conditions will be published on the PetCare page and in the app when the plan launches.

7. PetShop partners

Partner products and services are provided by the partner, who is responsible for quality and warranty. PetID verifies partner stores and takes complaints to help resolve them.

8. Prohibited use

• Using PetID to scam, harass or harvest other people's data.
• Creating fake profiles or tagging pets that are not yours.
• Interfering with, scanning or overloading the system.

9. Limitation of liability

PetID works to keep the service running but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted. To the extent allowed by law, PetID is not liable for indirect losses from using the service.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using PetID and delete your account at any time. PetID may suspend accounts that breach these terms after notice, except in emergencies.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Vietnamese law. Disputes are first settled by negotiation, then by the competent authority.
