PetID pays the PetCare share to your clinic each settlement period; the owner pays only the rest at the counter. The support level is announced at launch.
Handling a PetCare visit
Confirm the plan
The owner shows the ID card or PetID profile. You check the pet's plan. The support level is announced at launch.
Treat as usual
Your vet examines and treats the pet and updates the visit in its record.
Collect the owner's share
Collect the part outside PetCare's support at the counter.
Submit and get paid
Send the invoice and visit record to PetID. PetID reviews and pays each settlement period.
Requirements
- A valid veterinary clinic operating licence
- Licensed vets examining and treating on site
- Able to issue an invoice or receipt for each visit
- Agree to PetID's plan check and settlement process
Clinic questions
Is there a fee to join?
Partnership terms, including any fees and service prices for PetCare clients, are discussed and agreed in the partnership agreement before signing.
When does my clinic receive PetID's share?
PetID pays each settlement period set in the agreement, after each visit's record and invoice are approved.
What about clients without PetCare?
Treat and charge them as usual. If the pet has a PetID QR tag or ID card, your vet can still view its health record with the owner's permission.
Can we join if we only treat some species?
Yes. PetCare applies to any pet your clinic can treat. Tell us which species you see (dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles...) when you apply so PetID shows owners the right clinics.
What does PetCare support?
Expected items: consultations, lab tests, imaging, prescribed medication, hospital stays and surgery from illness or accidents. Vaccines, grooming, elective neutering and pre-existing conditions are outside the plan. The official list is published at launch.
Do we need special software?
No. PetID provides tools to check plans and send visit records, and the PetID team walks you through them when you start.
